Jefferson recorded five tackles (five solo) and an interception during Monday's 22-19 win versus the Eagles. Jefferson recorded an interception for the second straight game in Week 14, this time catching a red-zone pass that was tipped up by 2024 fifth-rounder Cam Hart to clinch a Chargers win in overtime. His role in Week 15 at Kansas City may largely depend on the health of teammate Elijah Molden (hamstring).

Jefferson (hamstring) does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Steelers, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports. Jefferson hurt his hamstring against the Vikings in Week 8. After sitting out this past Sunday's win against the Titans, the veteran defensive back logged limited practice sessions Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday this week. Jefferson is thus set to return to action Sunday.

Jefferson was able to return to practice after missing all three of the team's sessions last week and their 27-20 win over the Titans due to a hamstring injury. The safety will have two more opportunities to log a full practice prior to Sunday night's contest against the Steelers.

Jefferson suffered the injury in Week 8 against the Vikings and was unable to practice at all leading up to Sunday's game against Tennessee. Elijah Molden should log nearly all of the snaps at free safety in Jefferson's absence.

That's a bad sign for his availability, though he still has two days to increase his activity.
