Hicks will have to sit out in Week 18 due to a concussion he suffered Sunday versus the Dolphins. He'll finish the 2024 season with 78 tackles (40 solo), including 2.0 sacks, along with four pass breakups.

Hicks has been diagnosed with a concussion and has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Browns, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Hicks took a hit to the head in the first half of Sunday's game, and further tests concluded that the veteran linebacker suffered a concussion. He'll enter the league's five-step protocol, which he'll need to clear in order to play in the Browns' season finale against the Ravens next weekend.

Hicks logged 12 tackles (five solo) in Monday's 41-32 loss to the Broncos. Hicks was the leading tackler among both teams Monday, and his 12 tackles were his most since Week 4 of the 2023 regular season (13). In the three games since the Browns' Week 10 bye, Hicks has logged 24 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks.

Hicks recorded six tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday's 24-19 win versus the Steelers. Hicks led Cleveland's linebackers in snaps (60) in Week 12, and he came up with his second sack of the year in the first quarter. His overall production is still lagging behind the standard he has set for himself in past seasons though, keeping him off the IDP map in most formats going into a Week 13 game at Denver.
