  • Slay (groin) was a DNP on Thursday's injury report. Slay suffered a groin injury during the Eagles' Week 8 win over the Bengals. He's opened the week with consecutive DNPs, and unless he can practice in at least a limited capacity Friday, he's in jeopardy of being ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. If Slay is sidelined, Isaiah Rodgers would be the top candidate to start at corner alongside Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

  • Slay (groin) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Bengals. Slay will remain sidelined due to a groin injury, which could impact his availability for the Eagles' Week 9 contest against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 3. Isaiah Rodgers will work with the first-team defense for the rest of Sunday's game.

  • Slay (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Giants. Slay picked up a knee injury in Week 6 against the Browns. He was unable to practice Thursday, but he returned Friday and was able to practice without restriction. Slay will retain his starting spot at corner Sunday opposite Quinyon Mitchell, as the Eagles' secondary looks to limit a returning Malik Nabers.

  • Slay (knee) did not participate in Thursday's practice session. Slay is considered day-to-day with a knee injury he picked up in Week 6 against the Browns. He was able to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, but his inability to participate in Thursday's session is a step in the wrong direction and puts him in jeopardy of missing Week 7 against the Giants. Slay would give himself a good chance to play Sunday if he's able to return to practice Friday. The 2013 second-round pick has logged 19 tackles (14 solo), two pass breakups and one forced fumble through the first five games of the regular season.

  • Slay hurt his knee Sunday against the Browns and is questionable to return. Slay took himself out of the game after getting hurt in the third quarter and subsequently went to the medical tent. The cornerback was replaced on the field by Isaiah Rodgers, who would likely log the majority of defensive snaps if Slay is unable to return.
