Clark was unable to practice at the beginning of the week, but back-to-back limited sessions were enough to get him the green light. Barring any setbacks, he is slated to take on his usual role in the trenches for the Packers' interior defensive line.

Clark was able to play through his toe issue in the Packers' Week 2 win over the Colts, so his limited participation Wednesday is most likely precautionary. The 28-year-old has recorded five total tackles across Green Bay's two games this season, and he'll likely suit up in Week 3 unless his participation downgrades Thursday or Friday.

Clark had not recorded more than 6.0 sacks in a season, but he surpassed that mark in his eighth go-around as a professional. He appeared in every game the last two seasons and will turn just 28 years old in October, so he figures to remain a force up front for the Packers.

  Clark recorded four tackles (three solo), including two sacks, and a pass deflection in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Buccaneers. Clark had recorded only a half-sack over his previous six appearances, but he made up for lost time in a big way in Week 15 and pushed his season total to a career-high 6.5 sacks in the process. He will continue playing a prominent role on Green Bay's defensive line the rest of the way.
