Adams re-signed with the Steelers on a two-year deal Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Adams turns 29 in July and is coming off a 2023 in which he played a career-high 416 defensive snaps across 13 regular-season games for the Steelers. The veteran lineman finished with 24 tackles (11 solo) and one forced fumble.

Adams (ankle) is expected to play Thursday against the Patriots, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports. Adams hasn't played since Week 9, but he was close to returning for Sunday's loss to the Cardinals after closing the week with back-to-back full practices. The return of the veteran defensive tackle would be good news for the Steelers' defensive front.

Adams (ankle) is officially inactive for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals. Adams was considered questionable for Sunday after sitting out the past three games with an ankle injury, and his absence will continue against Arizona. Keeanu Benton should continue to operate as Pittsburgh's primary option on the interior defensive line.

Adams (ankle) was a full participant at practice Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Adams has missed Pittsburgh's last three games due to an ankle injury, but it now looks like he's finally back at 100 percent strength. He's still on pace for a career-best season despite already having missed time, and he should be heavily involved when he returns in Week 13.

Adams (ankle) won't play against Cleveland on Sunday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Adams is set to miss his second straight game after hurting his ankle early in Week 9 against Tennessee. Prior to the injury, he had played at least 68 percent of the Steelers' defensive snaps in three straight contests. In Adams' stead Sunday, Keeanu Benton will likely see an increased role again.
