  • Jones (back) participated at practice Thursday, Harold R. Kuntz of Fox 4 News Kansas City reports. Jones missed Wednesday's session because of a back issue, but it doesn't seem like it was anything major. The three-time All-Pro figures to get as many snaps as he can handle in 2026.

The veteran could likely have been sitting for vet-rest reasons and is not expected to miss any time.

    Jones recorded 29 tackles (15 solo), including 7.0 sacks, and two passes defended across 17 games with Kansas City during the 2025 campaign. Jones had one of the least productive seasons of his career, as his 29 tackles marked his lowest total since 2021, when he missed three games. However, despite the dip in production, the 2016 second-round pick still managed to lead the team in sacks once again. Jones will look to bounce back and help the Chiefs return to the playoffs during the 2026 campaign.

  • Jones (hamstring) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Titans. Jones was a limited participant in practice to open the week, but with full participation Friday, he is ready to go in the Chiefs' Week 16 matchup Sunday. The 31-year-old has not missed a game this season, accounting for 22 tackles (11 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two pass breakups in 14 starts.

    Jones (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday. Jones went without a tackle for the first time this season in the Chiefs' 16-13 loss to the Chargers in Week 15, and he may have left he contest a little worse for wear. The defensive lineman will have two more chances to move past the hamstring injury and log a full practice prior to Sunday's matchup with the Titans.
