  • Rudolph completed 23 of 34 passes for 252 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed four times for three yards in the Titans' 38-30 loss to the Colts on Sunday. He also threw a two-point conversion pass. Rudolph earned the Week 16 start after a spirited second-half performance as an in-game replacement for an ineffective Will Levis, and although he had his moments Sunday, he also sabotaged his team with turnovers. Rudolph's afternoon started in encouraging fashion with a 38-yard scoring strike to Calvin Ridley in the first quarter, and he would add a six-yard touchdown toss to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the fourth, and he also threw a two-point conversion toss to Chigoziem Okonkwo following a Tyjae Spears rushing score. However, in between, Rudolph threw a pair of picks near midfield, and his final interception came on a game-ending Hail Mary. Rudolph did connect with eight different targets overall and was more successful in producing chunk gains through the air compered to Levis, so the former is likely to remain the starter for a Week 17 road matchup against the Jaguars.

  • Head coach Brian Callahan announced Wednesday that Rudolph will start Sunday's game against the Colts and may also start the final two weeks of the season, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Rudolph will likely start the final three games of the season unless he gets injured or turns in a truly irredeemable performance, as there's not much reason for the Titans to turn back to Will Levis otherwise. The two quarterback have similar rate stats in many categories, but Rudolph has been far better at avoiding sacks, including this past Sunday. In the Titans' 37-27 loss to the Bengals, Rudolph attempted 26 passes and didn't take any sacks after coming on in relief of Levis, finishing with 21 completions for 209 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

  • Rudolph is expected to take over as the Titans' starting quarterback in Sunday's game against the Colts, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Fowler's report merely notes that Tennessee is "planning to make a switch at quarterback," but unless the Titans elect to install practice-squad member Trevor Siemian as their starter, Rudolph is the logical candidate to step in for Will Levis. Though the 25-year-old Levis has youth and his status as a recent second-round draft pick working in his favor, the Titans may have already determined that he's not their long-term answer at quarterback after he turned the ball over 17 times (12 interceptions, five lost fumbles) through 11 starts this season. Rudolph brings more experience to the table but hasn't built upon the late-season success he enjoyed as Pittsburgh's starter in 2023. Over his five appearances with Tennessee -- including three starts from Weeks 7 through 9 while Levis was out with a shoulder injury -- Rudolph has completed 63 percent of his passes for 6.6 yards per attempt and a 6:5 TD:INT to go with 75 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

  • Titans' Mason Rudolph: Week 16 Stashes
    By Heath Cummings

Looking for a Week 17 streamer? I hope you can get Aaron Rodgers this week. If the situation is more bleak than that, you should consider Mason Rudolph. Rudolph has produced multiple touchdowns in three straight outings, and he'll face Jacksonville, who has given up the most Fantasy points to opposing QBs this year. Rudolph could be a good start in the Fantasy Championship of a Superflex league.

  • With Will Levis (shoulder) announced as the Week 10 starter Sunday against the Chargers, Rudolph will head back to the bench as Tennessee's QB2, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Rudolph started the Titans' past three games, going 1-2 as a starter while completing 67 of 111 passes (60.4 percent) for 721 yards (6.5 yards per attempt), four touchdowns and four interceptions. He added a 13-61-1 rushing line.
