  • Bills' Curtis Samuel: Moved to IR
    By RotoWire

The Bills placed Samuel (elbow) on injured reserve Friday. Samuel will now need to miss at least four games while on IR before being eligible to return to the active roster. The move was coupled with the signing of wide receiver Gabe Davis from the practice squad. The Tuesday signing of Brandin Cooks likely also plays a role in the team's decision to move Samuel to IR. The wide receiver participated in six regular-season games this season where he totaled seven receptions for 81 yards and one receiving touchdown.

  • Bills' Curtis Samuel: Won't play Sunday
    By RotoWire

Samuel (elbow/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Samuel, who was also inactive Week 12, will target a potential return to action Sunday, Dec. 7 against the Bengals. With seven catches (on nine targets) for 81 yards and a TD in six games to date, Samuel is off the fantasy radar, though his continued absence this weekend will impact Buffalo's kick return game.

  • Samuel (elbow/neck) will not practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. The 29-year-old missed the Bills' Week 12 loss to the Texans due to elbow and neck injuries, and following Wednesday's DNP, it appears he's still dealing with the issues. Samuel likely needs to practice in at least a limited capacity either Thursday or Friday in order to have a chance at returning for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

  • Samuel (elbow/neck) is improving in his recovery, head coach Sean McDermott said Friday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Samuel sat out Thursday's loss to the Texans but he could be back for Buffalo's next game, Nov. 30 at Pittsburgh. Keon Coleman has been held out of the Bills' last two games as a coach's decision, so more targets could be available for Samuel if he's healthy enough to rejoin a Bills receiving corps that's searching for consistent production behind Khalil Shakir.

  • Bills' Curtis Samuel: Won't play Thursday
    By RotoWire

Samuel (elbow/neck) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Texans. Despite playing 28 offensive snaps and catching two of three targets for 19 yards in the Week 11 win over the Buccaneers, Samuel was unable to practice all week and is now in line to miss his fifth game of the season Thursday. While the Ohio State product is sidelined, expect Ray Davis and Ty Johnson to operate as Buffalo's top kick returners.
