Mahomes scored 25.7 Fantasy points against Denver in Week 1, and he opened the season with at least 21 points in three of his first four games. But he's struggled in his past two outings against the Chargers and Seahawks with a combined 16.5 Fantasy points, and he has no touchdowns and two interceptions over that span. The Broncos have held Justin Herbert, Sam Darnold and Jacoby Brissett to 18.5 Fantasy points or less in three games in a row, with two touchdowns and three interceptions over that span. Mahomes has also combined for 516 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in his past two trips to Denver, including a fumble. I would only start Mahomes in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 8.

Mahomes completed 19 of 33 passes for 165 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Seahawks. He added two rushing attempts for 14 yards. Mahomes was picked off in the second quarter and remarkably recovered his own fumble in a pile of bodies to avoid a second turnover in the third quarter, setting up a Harrison Butker field goal on the next play for the Chiefs' only points of the night. This was the first start in Mahomes' career during which Kansas City failed to reach the red zone, and he hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in two games since KC's Week 5 bye. Seattle's defense dominated while Kansas City struggled to move the ball in the absence of No. 1 WR Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee), whom the Chiefs will hope to get back for a Week 8 road game against the Broncos.

The combination of Kenneth Walker III dominating again and potentially Rashee Rice (hamstring) being out in Week 6 led to Mahomes having his worst game of the season against the Chargers with 10.5 Fantasy points. We'll see if Rice can play in Week 7 at Seattle, but this is a revenge game for Walker, who should continue to be the focal point of the offense. Marcus Mariota in Week 3 and Brock Purdy in Week 5 are the lone quarterbacks with at least 20 Fantasy points against the Seahawks, and I'm not expecting Mahomes to have a big performance at Seattle, especially if Rice remains out. He's only worth starting in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

Mahomes completed 23 of 30 passes for 272 yards, no touchdowns and one interception and rushed five times for 16 yards during Sunday's 22-6 win versus the Chargers. The Chiefs offense continues to be the Kenneth Walker show, as the No. 1 RB reeled off 100-plus rushing yards for the fourth time in five appearances to begin his tenure with the team. Meanwhile, Mahomes failed to record a touchdown pass for the first time this season after tossing multiple TDs in each of the first four contests. Considering Kansas City's receiving corps is particularly ravaged by injuries at the moment, the offense may continue to lean more on Walker's legs than Mahomes' right arm next Sunday at Seattle.

Mahomes went into his bye in Week 5 having scored at least 19.9 Fantasy points in each of his first four games, including two outings with at least 25.7 points. We hope he gets Rashee Rice (hamstring) healthy for this matchup with the Chargers, who have only allowed Kirk Cousins in Week 2 to score more than 20 Fantasy points this season. Mahomes suffered a torn ACL against the Chargers in Week 15 last season, but he is averaging 26.5 Fantasy points per game in his past 10 meetings with the Chargers. And Mahomes has scored at least 20.9 Fantasy points in five of eight games in his career coming off a bye in the regular season.
