Wallace (undisclosed) had a tryout with the Colts on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Wallace was cut after reaching an injury settlement with the Jaguars in mid-August. The cornerback was dealing with an undisclosed injury, which he now appears to have fully recovered from. Wallace appeared in 13 regular-season games with Denver last year, recording 28 total tackles (20 solo) and two passes defensed.

The Jaguars signed Wallace on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Wallace has played seven NFL campaigns between three different teams. He was with the Broncos last year, tallying 28 tackles and two defensed passes over 13 regular-season contests. Wallace gives Jacksonville's secondary a reinforcement, with cornerback Montaric Brown (leg) out for the remainder of training camp and potentially for the beginning of the regular season.

The Broncos waived Wallace on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. Wallace has been a healthy scratch for the Broncos' last two games. In the 13 games prior to Denver's Week 14 bye, Wallace logged 28 tackles (20 solo) and two pass defenses. Assuming he clears waivers, Wallace could opt to stick around with the Broncos on the practice squad or explore his options elsewhere.

Wallace posted eight tackles (five solo) and a defensed pass in a 41-32 Week 13 win over the Browns on Monday. Wallace started in place of Riley Moss (knee) and logged 86 percent of Denver's defensive snaps. While his tackle total tied for first on the Broncos, Wallace was frequently burned by Cleveland's Jerry Jeudy, who finished the game with a whopping 13 catches for 235 yards and a score. Wallace figures to move back to a reserve role in Week 14 if Moss is able to return.

Wallace is in line to sign with the Broncos, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports. The looming addition of Wallace, who turns 29 in June, would bolster the Broncos' depth at cornerback ahead of this week's NFL Draft. During the 2023 campaign, Wallace recorded 38 tackles and two picks in 16 regular-season games for the Steelers, and in his new locale the Alabama product could compete for a starting role opposite Patrick Surtain.
