  De'Von Achane has lived up to the billing as a breakout candidate, and he has scored at least 23 PPR points in all four games Tua Tagovailoa has started this season. Mostert hasn't had the same success, and he has two fumbles in his past three games. He's also scored 8.8 PPR points or less in two of his past three outings, and he's tough to trust heading into Week 10 at the Rams. Mostert will need to score a touchdown to have a quality Fantasy outing, and the Rams haven't allowed a running back to score a touchdown in their past three games against the Raiders, Vikings, and Seahawks. At best, Mostert is a flex option for Week 10.

  Mostert rushed 10 times for 56 yards, caught both of his targets for 32 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills. Mostert touched the ball on Miami's first three plays of the second half, and while he compiled 30 scrimmage yards during that stretch, it ended on a sour note when he lost a fumble. He finished with 12 touches compared to 20 for De'Von Achane, who compiled 121 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Mostert had a two-touchdown performance of his own in Week 8 against Arizona, but Achane has the higher floor in Miami's productive backfield heading into Week 10 against the Rams.

  De'Von Achane is headed for a big game against the Bills, who are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs and No. 1 in most receptions allowed to the position. But Mostert should be considered at least a flex in all leagues. With Tua Tagovailoa back from his four-game absence with a concussion in Week 8 against Arizona, Mostert scored two rushing touchdowns with nine carries for 19 yards and one catch for 11 yards on two targets. The Bills have allowed seven total touchdowns to running backs, and Mostert should be considered a threat to score any time Tagovailoa is on the field.

  Mostert rushed nine times for 19 yards and two touchdowns while catching one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals. Mostert helped the Dolphins welcome back starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) by capping Miami's opening drive with a one-yard touchdown run. The veteran running back added a six-yard rushing score in the fourth quarter, but he was otherwise outperformed on the ground by De'Von Achane, who had 10 carries for 97 rushing yards and a receiving touchdown. Achane is usually the favorite to lead Miami's backfield in touches and yards, but Mostert's success by the goal line is nothing new, as he produced a league-best 18 rushing touchdowns in 2023. Both Dolphins running backs will be in fantasy starter consideration in Week 9 against a Bills defense that has been better against the pass than the run.

  The Dolphins offense should improve dramatically with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) expected to return in Week 8, and that should benefit all of the main skill players. Mostert ran well in his past two games against the Patriots, and Colts, with a combined 30 carries for 130 yards and two catches for 18 yards on two targets over that span, although he lost a fumble in Week 7 at Indianapolis. De'Von Achane is a must-start running back in all leagues against the Cardinals, who have allowed seven running backs to score at least 12 PPR points this season, and Mostert is worth using as a flex.
