Johnson secured his lone target for a four-yard touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans. Johnson failed to record a single rushing attempt in the contest as he operated as the No. 3 running back behind teammates James Cook and Ray Davis. The 27-year-old's minimal usage coincided with Cook's return from a toe injury that sidelined him in Week 6. Assuming the Buffalo backfield is completely healthy, Johnson does not see enough touches to be in consideration for fantasy purposes. The Bills are set to visit the Seahawks in Week 8.

Johnson rushed four times for 34 yards and was not targeted as a passer in Monday's 23-20 win over the Jets. Johnson was one of two candidates to replace starter James Cook's (toe) touches Monday, but it turned out to be fellow backup Ray Davis (152 combined yards on 23 touches) who benefited from a fantasy standpoint. The 26-year-old Johnson was worth a waiver add Week 6, but given the touch distribution -- plus the potential for Cook to return -- the backup running back is a low-end fantasy option Week 7. The Bills are set to host the Titans on Sunday.

Johnson carried three times for 15 yards and was not targeted in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Texans. Johnson was out there for a season-high 36 percent of the offensive snaps, but with the Bills playing catch-up for most of the day, there wasn't much room for change-of-pace carries. Johnson remains ahead of Ray Davis in the pecking order behind starter James Cook, as Davis played only two offensive snaps Sunday. That said, the No. 2 spot in Buffalo is strictly an insurance or deep reserve fantasy play, as Cook is serving as a bell-cow back and is even getting goal-line carries this season. Of the team's eight rushing touchdowns, Cook has four, Josh Allen has two, and Johnson and Davis have one apiece.

Johnson carried three times for 18 yards and caught all three of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars. Johnson ended up having his best statistical day of the young season Monday, seeing season highs in snap percentage (27), rushing yards (18), and targets (3). With that said, the veteran's statistics were not overly impressive, and his increased usage was likely the result of the Bills resting key players in the second half amid the blowout. Johnson's touchdown grab was his first trip to the end zone in 2024, but he likely won't earn many more scoring opportunities while lead back James Cook is healthy.

Johnson rushed once for minus-1 yard and added one catch for 33 yards on two targets in Thursday's 31-10 win over the Dolphins. Johnson watched James Cook score three first-half touchdowns, while rookie Ray Davis got most of the mop-up duty with the game out of reach, finishing with nine carries to Johnson's one. While it's a positive that Johnson is no longer bothered by the knee injury he picked up in the season opener, he seems to have fallen to third on Buffalo's running-back depth chart heading into a Week 3 visit from the Jaguars.
