Baker (neck) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. A neck injury kept Baker out of action this past Sunday against the Jaguars, but his ability to practice in full Wednesday suggests a return is likely on the horizon. When healthy, Baker has worked as one of Tennessee's starting inside linebackers this season. His return would likely push Luke Gifford -- who started against Jacksonville in Baker's stead -- back to a rotational role.

Baker popped up on the Titans' injury report Thursday as a non-participant due to a neck issue. After logging a second DNP on Friday, he appears to be trending toward not playing in Week 14 despite his questionable designation. With Baker, Kenneth Murray (hamstring) and James Williams (knee) all listed as questionable for Sunday's divisional matchup, Otis Reese will likely see increased defensive work in the team's linebacker corps.

Unless he's able to return to practice Thursday, Baker would be in jeopardy of missing the Titans' AFC South clash against the Jaguars on Sunday. The Titans may have to turn to Otis Reese and Cedric Gray to start at inside linebacker Sunday if both Baker and Kenneth Murray (hamstring) are unable to play.

Baker got his first defensive snaps with the Titans on Sunday, and while he started the day in a rotational role at inside linebacker, he'll likely start alongside Kenneth Murray moving forward after Jack Gibbens suffered a season-ending ankle injury. Across six regular-season games between the Seahawks and Titans, Baker has logged 45 tackles (25 solo), including 1.0 sacks, two pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
