The Seahawks re-signed Gaskin to the practice squad Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Gaskin was waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday after being promoted to the active roster for Sunday's win over the Vikings. The 28-year-old rushed three times for six yards while serving as the replacement No. 3 running back for George Holani (hamstring), who was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

Gaskin was signed to the active roster from the practice squad last Saturday and obtained his first carries of the 2025 campaign, rushing three times for six yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings. The running back was signed due to George Holani's (hamstring) presence on injured reserve, and his waiving likely has to do with the Seahawks' signing of Cam Akers. If Gaskin clears waivers, we may find him back on the team's practice squad later this week.

Gaskin logged three offensive snaps in the blowout win and received a carry on each one. Cam Akers also signed with the team earlier in the week but was a healthy scratch, yet it's possible Akers gets the nod over Gaskin in Week 14 versus the Falcons.
