Smith (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Smith jumped to a full participant Thursday after failing to practice in Wednesday's session. The increase in participation and subsequent clearing of any injury designation means the linebacker should be good to go for Sunday night's game against the Patriots. Smith is coming off a 14-tackle effort against the Bengals last Sunday, and a similar performance would be very welcome against one of the most efficient offenses in either conference in that of New England.

Smith (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Smith racked up 14 tackles and played 100 percent of snaps in Baltimore's Week 15 win over the Bengals, though he apparently came away with a knee injury as well. The severity of the issue should become clearer as the week of practice progresses.

Smith tallied 14 tackles (eight solo) against the Bengals in a 24-0 shutout victory Sunday. Smith was easily Baltimore's leading tackler in the impressive defense-led victory. His 14 stops were the second most he's recorded the season and served as his fourth straight double-digit tackle tally. Smith missed two games earlier this season due to a hamstring issue, but he's still posted 114 tackles to reach the triple-digit mark for the eighth straight season to begin his career.

Smith recorded 11 total tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 23-10 win over the Jets. Smith led Baltimore's defense in total tackles and has now logged double-digit stops in three of the team's last five contests. The Georgia product has appeared in nine games this season, recording 79 total tackles and three passes defensed. He's expected to remain a viable IDP option in the Week 13 matchup against the Bengals on Thursday.

Smith (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Jets. Smith has played 100 percent of the defensive snaps since return from his hamstring injury in Week 8 and has produced 68 tackles (45 solo), three pass breakups and one fumble recovery across eight contests this season.
