  • Strnad registered seven tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Chargers. Strnad's fourth-quarter sack came on third down, resulting in a Chargers punt. It was the linebacker's second sack over the past three weeks after coming into the campaign with no sacks over 50 career regular-season games. Strnad didn't have much of a chance to get to the quarterback prior to 2024, though, as he played exclusively on special teams in both 2022 and 2023.

  • Strnad (groin) participated in warmups ahead of Sunday's preseason game against Green Bay, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. Strnad sustained a groin injury that kept him out of Denver's preseason opener against Indianapolis on Aug. 11. Now healthy, he'll use Sunday's game to make his case for a depth inside linebacker spot on the Broncos' final 53-man roster. The 2020 fifth-round pick played all 389 of his snaps last year on special teams and finished with five tackles (four solo) across 17 regular-season games.
