Sneed (quadriceps) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Sneed will miss a minimum of four games after this move. The earliest he could return would be Nov. 30 against the Jaguars. Marcus Harris will likely start opposite Jalyn Armour-Davis in Sneed's absence.

Interim head coach Mike McCoy told reporters Wednesday that Sneed (quadriceps) will miss time going forward, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. The veteran corner from Louisiana Tech sustained a quadriceps injury in the third quarter of the Week 7 loss to the Patriots, and it now appears the issue is serious enough for him to miss time. Sneed has appeared in all seven of Tennessee's games thus far, recording 26 total tackles and three passes defended. While Sneed is sidelined, expect Marcus Harris to start opposite Jalyn Armour-Davis in the Titans' secondary.

Sneed was taken to the locker room in the third quarter, and medical staff have determined that the cornerback's quadriceps injury is too severe for him to return to Sunday's contest. Darrell Baker will see more snaps at outside corner in Sneed's absence.

Sneed (quadricep) did not practice Wednesday. Sneed recorded a season-high 10 tackles in Sunday's loss to the Raiders, but he may have gotten hurt in the game. His participation the rest of the week should provide a better idea of whether he's in any danger of missing Tennessee's Week 7 matchup against New England.
