The settlement gives Kareem a chance to play in 2024 if he lands with another team. The defensive end appeared in one game and on 24 defensive snaps for Chicago in 2023, recording one tackle and a pass defensed.

As long as Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson remain healthy though, Kareem will be relegated to a rotational role.
