Bryant (neck/shoulder) had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday. Bryant remains on injured reserve, where he was placed Nov. 15, but he can rejoin his teammates at practice. The Texans have 21 days to add Bryant back to the active roster, and such a move could occur prior to Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Bryant's participation level in practice will provide insight on how close he is to returning to game action.

The Texans placed Bryant (neck/shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday. While Bryant was placed on injured reserve, fellow tight end Cade Stover (foot) was activated from IR, and the latter will serve as the Texans' TE2 behind Dalton Schultz moving forward. Bryant will be required to miss at least four games while on IR, which makes Week 15 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Dec. 14 the earliest he can return. Luke Lachey is available off the practice squad should the Texans require more depth at tight end for as long as Bryant is on IR.

Bryant was unable to practice all week due to neck and shoulder injuries, and the sixth-year pro will not be available for Sunday's AFC South tilt. Dalton Schultz (illness/shoulder) has been cleared to play against Tennessee, and Cade Stover (foot) could be activated from injured reserve to fill in as the TE2 in Bryant's absence. If Stover isn't activated, then the Texans would likely elevate Luke Lachey from the practice squad to be Schultz's backup.

Bryant (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville. A shoulder injury prevented Bryant from participating in the first two practices of Week 10 prep, but he earned the questionable tag after logging a full practice Friday. Dalton Schultz is the only healthy tight end on the active roster, so the Texans may elevate Brevin Jordan or Cade Stover from the practice squad to provide added depth at tight end in case Bryant is unable to play Sunday.

Bryant (shoulder) didn't participate in Houston's practice Wednesday. Bryant popped up on the injury report after catching one pass for two yards in the Week 9 loss to the Broncos. The Texans could be shorthanded at tight end for Sunday's matchup versus the Jaguars, as Dalton Schultz is dealing with a knee injury, and Cade Stover (foot) is still on injured reserve.
