Fuller (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Broncos. Fuller was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday and practiced in a limited fashion throughout the week. However, Friday's injury report suggests he's still dealing with his hamstring issue in some capacity. The Ohio State product must still be activated to the Panthers' active roster in order to have a chance at suiting up in Week 9, when the Saints travel to Carolina.

Carolina designated Fuller (hamstring) for return to practice from its injured reserve list Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports. The transaction opens a 21-day window during which the Panthers can officially activate Fuller from injured reserve before they'd be forced to leave him there for the rest of the year. The team's official practice report should shed some light on his potential availability for Week 8.

Fuller (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports. Fuller exited Sunday's win over the Raiders early with the injury and was unable to return. He'll now be forced to miss at least the next four weeks, leaving the Panthers without their starting free safety. In his absence, Nick Scott will be asked to continue filling in at the position, as he did Sunday, recording six tackles (four solo) in the process.

Fuller (ankle) ended the 2023 regular season with 94 tackles (61 solo), eight passes defended, three interceptions and three forced fumbles over 17 games played. A year removed from a hamstring injury that cost him all but three games of the 2022 campaign, Fuller returned and logged 1,007 snaps on defense, while proving to be a disruptive force at safety with career highs in forced fumbles and passes defended. Fuller will be an unrestricted free agent heading into the offseason and will likely draw plenty of interest if he doesn't return to the Rams.

Fuller (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Fuller sprained his ankle during Sunday's Week 17 win over the Giants but was still able to play 100 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps and finish with eight tackles and an interception. The safety's ability to practice, albeit in limited fashion, Wednesday suggests that the injury isn't major. That said, head coach Sean McVay has indicated that Los Angeles will rest multiple starters in Sunday's regular-season finale against the 49ers, so there's a chance Fuller won't suit up even if he's healthy enough to do so.
