Bowers (calf) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of the Raiders' official site reports. Bowers was listed with both hamstring and calf issues on the Raiders' Week 7 injury report, but he appears to have at least put the former injury behind him heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Jets. As long as he's able to make it through the Raiders' next two practices without incident, Bowers will likely head into the weekend without an injury designation.

Bowers (hamstring/calf) upgraded to a full practice Thursday, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports. After popping up on the injury report Wednesday as a limited participant with a pair of new "injuries," Bowers was able to get in a full session Thursday and should be ready to roll for Sunday's game with the Rams. The top TE1 play every week, Bowers has 28 grabs for 382 yards and three touchdowns through four appearances.

Bowers previously dealt with a knee injury this season, costing him the first two games of the campaign, but this is the first time he's been listed with hamstring and calf issues. It's certainly something to monitor with his injury history, but he can likely alleviate any concerns with a full, or even limited, practice Thursday. Bowers logged a season-high 98.5 percent of the offensive snaps in the Raiders' Week 6 loss to the Bills. Michael Mayer and Tre Tucker would get significant boosts should Bowers ever need to miss time.

Bowers brought in four of nine targets for 70 yards in the Raiders' 33-30 loss to the Bills on Sunday. Bowers came on in the second half as the Raiders tried to mount a comeback, but he saw fellow tight end Michael Mayer outpace him by three receptions and 25 receiving yards on the same number of targets. Bowers' reception, receiving yardage and target totals were all season lows, underscoring how significant his production had been over his first three games of the campaign. Bowers should be heavily involved again in a Week 7 home showdown against the Rams on Sunday.
