DuBose secured one of three targets for 13 yards during Thursday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. DuBose had a target from Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) bounce off his chest early in the first quarter of Thursday's loss, resulting in a Buffalo interception that set the tone for the night. That mistake will overshadow the second-year pro's first NFL catch and potentially result in his opportunities on offense being reduced going forward. The Dolphins seem likely to have Skylar Thompson under center Week 3 against Seattle and for as long as Tagovailoa remains in the concussion protocol.

The Dolphins were awarded DuBose off waivers Wednesday. DuBose was waived by the Packers on Tuesday after he was unable to carve out a spot among the crowded wide receiver corps. He'll still be buried on Miami's depth chart, but he'll have the chance to be active on game day if he can impress his new team.

DuBose was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports. The wide receiver who caught five passes for 66 yards in the team's preseason opener ended up missing out on the sixth and final slot on the depth chart. DuBose signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January after spending much of 2023 on the practice squad.

DuBose was targeted six times and caught five passes for 66 yards in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns. DuBose had been something of an afterthought in Green Bay's deep receiver room, but he made a strong statement in the first preseason contest while leading the Packers in all of targets, receptions and receiving yardage. It will be tough for DuBose to really make a mark if his counterparts stay healthy, but he is in the mix with Malik Heath and Samori Toure for the sixth spot on the depth chart.

The Packers signed DuBose to a reserve/future contract Monday. DuBose spent most of his rookie season on Green Bay's practice squad, and now he'll get a chance to compete for a spot on its 53-man roster for 2024. He caught 63 passes for 787 yards and nine touchdowns at UNC-Charlotte in 2022.
