Calcaterra finished with zero catches (on one target) in Sunday's 34-6 win over the Cowboys. Calcaterra averaged 3.3 catches for 40.0 yards on 4.0 targets over the previous four weeks with Dallas Goedert out with a hamstring injury, but his role in the offense all but evaporated with Goedert back in action iWeek 10. That's likely to remain the case going forward, as Calcaterra averaged just one catch for 14 yards prior to Goedert's injury.

Calcaterra brought in all five of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 28-23 win over Jacksonville. Dallas Goedert (hamstring) remained sidelined Sunday, opening the door for Calcaterra to make his third consecutive start for Philadelphia. The 25-year-old registered new season highs in receptions and targets despite his meager 30 yards of output as a receiver. If Calcaterra draws another start against the Cowboys next Sunday, he would make for a decent PPR or deeper-league option in Week 10.

Calcaterra brought in all three targets for 58 yards in the Eagles' 37-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday. With Dallas Goedert (hamstring) sidelined for the second straight game, Calcaterra drew another start and parlayed it into a productive afternoon. Calcaterra's numbers were somewhat surprising considering he'd drawn just one target from Jalen Hurts against the Giants in Week 7, but it wasn't completely unforeseen since he'd contributed a 4-67 line in Week 6 against the Browns. Calcaterra could be in a favorable position for a successful encore in a Week 9 home matchup against the vulnerable Jaguars defense if Goedert remains sidelined.

Calcaterra is expected to serve as the Eagles' top pass-catching tight end in Sunday's game against the Bengals with Dallas Goedert (hamstring) ruled out for the contest. With Goedert sitting out the Week 7 win over the Giants and missing most of the Week 6 win over the Browns with the hamstring injury, Calcaterra has taken on an expanded role. He's played at least 70 percent of the offensive snaps in both contests, combining for five receptions for 72 yards on five targets. With all of the Eagles' other key pass-catching options available, Calcaterra profiles as a tertiary target for quarterback Jalen Hurts and likely won't represent a bankable fantasy option Week 8.

Calcaterra served as the Eagles' No. 1 tight end in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants but caught just one pass for five yards. Calcaterra saw plenty of playing time in the absence of Dallas Goedert (hamstring), but the Eagles didn't make him a significant part of the gameplan. That wasn't necessarily his fault, as the team's rushing attack was so successful that they only attempted 15 passes in total, leaving very few targets to go around. Calcaterra could be the top tight end again next week if Goedert remains out, but he's never had more than four catches in a game (and has only once had more than two) despite filling in for Goedert on multiple occasions in recent years.
