  • Murray recorded seven tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos. Murray tied for the team lead in tackles, even in the blowout loss. He has been remarkably consistent this season, logging at least seven tackles in six of eight contests. Murray will remain a key part of Dallas' defense so long as he's healthy.

The veteran linebacker tied with rookie Shemar James for the team lead in tackles, and Murray also added his first sack as a Cowboy. Given Murray was on the field for 73 defensive snaps in Week 5, it's a bit surprising he posted his lowest tackle total of the year thus far. Per Tommy Yarrish of DallasCowboys.com, the veteran linebacker left the game briefly in the fourth quarter with an injury, but he was able to return to the field. Murray has 30 tackles through four games, putting him on pace to reach triple digits for the third time in his career as he fills a starting role in Matt Eberflus' LB-friendly scheme.

  • Murray logged six tackles (four solo) during the Cowboys' 31-14 loss to the Bears on Sunday. Murray was one of two Cowboys defenders to play every defensive snap, and he finished tied with Reddy Steward for the third most tackles on the team behind Donovan Wilson and Jack Sanborn (seven each). Murray's 22 tackles leads the Cowboys through the first three games of the regular season, and he is on pace to crack 100-plus tackles for the third time in his six-year NFL career.
