Phillips agreed to a four-year, $120 million contract with the Panthers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Phillips' massive new contract won't be finalized until the new league year begins Wednesday. Carolina is banking on a return to form for Miami's 2021 first-round pick, as Phillips had just 6.0 sacks in 21 games split between Miami and Philadelphia over the past two regular seasons after notching at least 6.5 sacks in each of his first three campaigns with the Dolphins.

Phillips (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Phillips was able to start the week as a full participant after missing last Sunday's loss to the Commanders due to an ankle injury he likely sustained against the Bills in Week 17. The weakside linebacker's ability to start the week with full participation means he should be all set to suit up for Sunday's wild-card game against the 49ers alongside fellow linebackers Zack Baun, Nakobe Dean (hamstring) and Nolan Smith.

Phillips (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders. Phillips was unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury he sustained in last Sunday's win over the Bills. Jihaad Campbell will likely start Sunday's divisional matchup at weakside linebacker in Phillips' absence. With inside linebacker Nakobe Dean (hamstring) also ruled out, the Eagles are set to give Jalyx Hunt, Joshua Uche and/or Brandon Graham more defensive snaps with the linebacker corps in Week 18.

Phillips (concussion) was a limited participant in practice Thursday. The edge rusher suffered the concussion late in last Friday's game against the Bears, and he was clearly dazed as he made his way to the sideline. Phillips will need to clear the league's concussion protocol to have a chance to play Monday against the Chargers. The former Dolphin has 15 tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks, a pass breakup and a fumble recovery in four games since being traded to the Eagles.

Phillips (shoulder) logged a limited practice Wednesday. Phillips quickly has made an impact with the Eagles, logging 11 total tackles, one sack and one recovered fumble across two games. There doesn't appear to be a significant reason for concern regarding his availability for Week 12 against the Cowboys, though it will be worth monitoring his practice participation in the next two days.
