Mundt (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Indianapolis. Mundt is healthy, but he's going to miss his first game of the season. The veteran tight end has produced eight catches on 17 targets for 95 yards through 12 games on the campaign. Mundt appears to be fourth in the Jaguars' tight-end pecking order behind Brenton Strange, Quintin Morris and Hunter Long.

Mundt caught two of three targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 35-6 win against the Chargers. The 30-year-old played 41 of 71 offensive snaps in the absences of Hunter Long (hip) and Brenton Strange (hip), while Quintin Morris led the way for Jacksonville's tight ends with 50 snaps. Mundt now has seven catches for 83 yards through 10 games this season and is likely to continue being sporadically involved in the Jaguars' aerial attack.

Mundt caught one pass for seven yards in the Jaguars' win over the Chiefs on Monday night. With Brenton Strange (hip) missing the second half of the game, Mundt logged 34.5 percent of the Jaguars' offensive snaps in Week 5, but he was targeted just the one time. Even if Strange misses time, Mundt won't be a recommended fantasy target.

Mundt (upper body) played in Sunday's preseason game against the Saints. The veteran tight end missed the Jaguars' first exhibition but was able to play 16 offensive snaps versus New Orleans. He wasn't targeted in the contest and is expected to fill a blocking role behind Brenton Strange in 2025.

Mundt (upper body) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Mundt has been limited in practice due to an upper-body injury, and he'll be held out of Saturday's preseason opener to avoid aggravating the injury. He'll have two more chances to make an appearance during the preseason, with the next game taking place Sunday, Aug. 17 against the Saints. Quintin Morris, Patrick Herbert and Shawn Bowman are candidates to see an uptick in snaps at tight end due to Mundt's absence.
