The 31-year-old has appeared in the Cardinals' last three games, contributing both offensively and on special teams (25 snaps on offense and 30 on special teams). Now with the active roster, Brown will likely continue playing a depth role in Arizona's tight-end room for the remainder of the season.

  The Cardinals reverted Brown to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Brown got his third straight elevation ahead of Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay and played seven of Arizona's 61 offensive snaps along with seven snaps on special teams. He didn't get any targets, which was also the case in his first two appearances this season. Since Brown has been elevated the maximum three times, he'll need to be signed to the active roster in order to suit up again with the Cardinals during the regular season.

Brown made his second appearance of the regular season during Sundays' 27-24 overtime loss to the Jaguars, when he played 20 snaps (eight on offense, 12 on special teams) while recording a tackle on punt coverage. He's eligible to be elevated from the practice squad once more by the Cardinals this season, which could come as soon as Week 13 against the Buccaneers this Sunday.

  The Cardinals elevated Brown from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Brown caught on with the Cardinals' practice squad in mid-October after failing to make the Dolphins' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. If he's active for Sunday's NFC West tilt against the 49ers, then Brown would serve as the Cardinals' TE4 behind Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Josiah Deguara. Brown appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Seahawks in 2024, when he split his snaps between offense and special teams while hauling in eight passes (on 12 targets) for 65 yards.
