Jeanty rushed 23 times for 102 yards and secured all six targets for 45 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Jeanty shook off the ankle injury that had plagued him for weeks leading into Week 1 by handling a voluminous workload with impressive efficacy. He set the pace for the Raiders in both rushing and receiving yards on the afternoon, and he shared the team lead in receptions as well. The 2025 first-round pick's pair of receiving scores were each from 13 yards out and transpired in the second and third quarters. With his health apparently no longer in question and Las Vegas' offense looking crisp in its first game under head coach Klint Kubiak's scheme, Jeanty's prospects are bright heading into a Week 2 road matchup against the Chargers next Sunday.

Jeanty said prior to Thursday's practice that he feels "really good" about the health of his right ankle and reiterated that he'll be ready to go for Sunday's season opener versus the Dolphins, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports. "Any time away from the game, it's tough," Jeanty said. "But to get back out there [at practice Wednesday], mainly with the guys, man, it felt good." Jeanty cleared up any concern about his availability for the opener by turning in a full practice Wednesday, two and a half weeks after he sustained what initially appeared to be a serious-looking ankle injury during an Aug. 23 training camp session. The running back practiced again Thursday, and barring any setbacks, he'll draw the Week 1 start for the Raiders. However, because of the amount of workouts Jeanty missed late in camp while recovering from the ankle injury, the Raiders could look to manage his workload to some degree in the opener and open up more reps for rookie Mike Washington, per Dan Graziano of ESPN.com.

Coach Klint Kubiak said Jeanty (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports. Jeanty has been sidelined since suffering a low-ankle sprain Aug. 23, but Kubiak expressed optimism last week that his star running back will be available for Week 1. Getting on the practice field Wednesday would be a strong sign that Jeanty will be able to suit up Sunday versus Miami.

Jeanty (ankle) was not spotted at Tuesday's practice, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports. Head coach Klint Kubiak said Friday that he's "counting on" Jeanty to be available for Week 1, but the second-year running back will need to get back on the practice field first. The Raiders will open their season with a Sept. 13 game against the Dolphins, so Jeanty still has time to heal up from his sprained ankle. Rookie Mike Washington would be in store for an expanded role versus Miami if Jeanty is out or limited for that contest.

Jeanty's ankle injury is being monitored in advance of Week 1, but per head coach Klint Kubiak, the Raiders are "counting on him" to be available, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official website reports. The extent of the injury Jeanty sustained at Sunday's practice session has not been revealed, but Kubiak's comments provide reason to believe the Raiders will have their top running back available for the season opener against the Dolphins on Sept. 13. Jeanty will have over two weeks to rest and recover before the campaign gets underway. Should he encounter any hiccups, Mike Washington remains next in line in the Las Vegas backfield.
