The Panthers expect McMillan (ankle) to be ready for the start of training camp, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports. McMillan missed some time during OTAs due to what was initially labeled a foot issue, but it is now being dubbed ankle soreness. He participated in practice during the first day of mandatory minicamp Tuesday, but per Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340, the 2025 first-rounder is not dressed for practice Wednesday. McMillan himself said Wednesday that he currently feels good and expects to be ready for training camp in July, Kaye reports, an indication that his reps at minicamp may simply be being capped as a precaution. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, head coach Dave Canales said that Carolina's plan is for McMillan to take part in two of the team's three minicamp practices, so the wideout should be back on the field Thursday.

McMillan (foot) is participating in practice Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports. Tuesday is the first day of mandatory minicamp for the Panthers, and McMillan is back in a helmet going through drills after he missed some time during OTAs with a foot issue. The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year is coming off a 2025 season in which he caught 70 of 122 targets for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns while playing in all 17 regular-season games. Headed into his second season, McMillan will be looking to build on those numbers with improved chemistry with Bryce Young.

McMillan was named the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The Panthers selected McMillan with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 Draft, and he quickly emerged as Carolina's top pass catcher. Even with inconsistent quarterback play and low pass volume in the offense, McMillan topped 1,000 receiving yards in 17 regular-season games while reaching 100 yards in two separate contests. He could face similar obstacles in 2026, but McMillan will remain a key part of the offense and should earn plenty of targets.

McMillan recorded five receptions on seven targets for 81 yards in Saturday's 34-31 wild-card loss to the Rams. McMillan was overshadowed by Jalen Coker, but he still turned in a solid showing of his own. He particularly played a key role on a touchdown drive in the second quarter, logging consecutive receptions of 14 and 22 yards. Overall, McMillan closed his rookie season having topped 70 receiving yards in three of his last five games (including playoffs), setting him up to take a potential step forward in his sophomore season.

McMillan (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The star rookie was a late addition to the injury report Sunday morning with an illness, but despite the questionable tag, he was always expected to suit up. McMillan has taken over as the Panthers' No. 1 wideout this season, collecting multiple receptions in all but one appearance thus far, and he has five touchdowns over his past five games, including a career-high 8-130-2 line in Atlanta during Week 11.
