Grandy caught one pass for nine yards in the season finale against the Steelers, giving him five catches on the season. The former practice-squad player was elevated first in Week 10 against the Ravens and essentially served as a fourth tight end for a Bengals team that used their tight ends a lot more than they had in previous seasons.

Grandy played 17 of the Bengals' 71 snaps on offense and went without a target in Monday's 27-20 win over the Cowboys. One of four tight ends active for Cincinnati, Grandy finished third in the group in playing time, ahead of Tanner Hudson (14 snaps) but behind Drew Sample (49) and Mike Gesicki (20). Grandy has drawn just one target across his 29 offensive snaps over his four games this season and will likely continue to have a muted role if all of Sample, Gesicki and Hudson stay healthy.

Grandy signed with the Bengals in May as an undrafted free agent, and he was signed to the practice squad after he was unable to make the 53-man roster after training camp. Grandy was elevated from the practice squad, and he'll make his NFL regular-season debut serving as the Bengals' No. 4 tight end behind Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson.
