Gardeck recorded six total tackles (three solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win over the Cardinals. The first-year Jaguar logged his first 1.5 sacks of the season against his former team in Week 12, bringing down Jacoby Brissett in both the first and third quarters. Gardeck has appeared in all 11 games this season, recording 38 total tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. He's expected to remain one of Jacksonville's top outside linebackers in the Week 13 matchup against the Titans.

Gardeck (chest) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers. Gardeck was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, and being cleared of injury designation indicates he has moved pas his chest injury in time for Sunday's game. The starting outside linebacker has played in every game of the Jaguars' 2025 campaign, totaling 28 tackles (19 solo), one pass defensed and one forced fumble through 200 defensive snaps. The 31-year-old is also a special-teams contributor, having logged 164 special-teams snaps this season, and his continued presence on the field will benefit the Jaguars in multiple phases of the game.

The Jaguars placed Gardeck (knee) on the active/PUP list Saturday. Gardeck tore his ACL in Week 7 of last season and is still rehabbing the injury. The veteran linebacker signed with the Jaguars in early June, but it's not clear when he'll be ready to suit up. That said, he can be activated at any point during the preseason, at which point he'll be eligible to begin practicing.

Jacksonville signed Gardeck (knee) on Wednesday, Brock Vierra of si.com reports. Gardeck missed Arizona's last 10 games of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL in Week 7 versus the Chargers. Now, he's getting a fresh start with a new team. With that said, he might not be a lock to make the Jaguars' final 53-man roster for 2025, especially given that they just added Jack Kiser in the fourth round of the draft.

The Cardinals placed Gardeck (knee) on injured reserve Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Gardeck tore his ACL in the Cardinals' Week 7 win over the Chargers, so his shift to IR comes as no surprise. Arizona will now be without two of its top edge rushers in Gardeck and BJ Ojulari (knee) for the remainder of the season. Expect Julian Okwara and Xavier Thomas to both see increased work on the Cardinals' defense going forward.
