Bateman failed to reel in either of his two targets in Sunday night's 28-24 loss to the Patriots. Bateman missed the previous game with an ankle injury but returned to his clear WR2 role behind Zay Flowers against New England. However, Bateman's two targets were three fewer than DeAndre Hopkins despite Bateman out-snapping Hopkins 38 to 20. After an impressive 2024 season that saw Bateman post a 45-756-9 receiving line, he's caught more than two passes in a game just once this season with a total of two touchdowns.

Bateman (ankle) was a full participant in practice Wednesday. Bateman is thus set to return for Sunday's matchup with New England after missing the Week 15 win at Cincinnati. His availability leaves less playing time for fellow wideouts DeAndre Hopkins and Devontez Walker, neither of whom has done much with Bateman bothered by various injuries in the second half of the season.

Bateman (ankle) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Bateman will likely be limited Wednesday, but it's encouraging to see him back on the practice field after he missed Baltimore's win over the Bengals in Week 15. He was added to the injury report as limited last Thursday then missed practice entirely Friday. Bateman's production has been disappointing in 2025, as across 11 regular-season appearances he's tallied just 18 catches for 217 yards and two scores on 36 targets.

Bateman (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Bateman is still "fighting through" a lingering ankle sprain, and that the team will make a decision about his availability on Saturday. If Bateman isn't able to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup, all of DeAndre Hopkins, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker and LaJohntay Wester will be candidates to benefit from increased snaps behind top wide receiver Zay Flowers.

Bateman (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Bateman was added to the Ravens' Week 15 injury report after being deemed a limited participant in Thursday's practice. With the wideout not present for Friday's session, his status for Sunday's game against the Bengals is now cloudy. If he's unavailable this weekend, added WR snaps alongside Zay Flowers would be available for some combination of DeAndre Hopkins, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker and LaJohntay Wester.
