Hufanga played every single defensive snap for the eighth time this season and fifth time over his last six games, but his three stops were his lowest since Week 4 against the Bengals (one). Hufanga is up to 97 combined tackles through 14 regular-season games, which matches his career high that he set in 2022 across 17 regular-season games as a member of the 49ers. The 2021 fifth-rounder should crack the tackling century mark during the Broncos' Week 16 tilt against the Jaguars this Sunday.

Hufanga played all 60 of the Broncos' defensive snaps Thursday, finishing with nine total tackles for the second straight week. The 25-year-old safety led the team in takedowns as he continued to prove to be one of Denver's best free-agent signings this offseason. Hufanga's sack in the contest was his second of the season, and the veteran has now recorded 70 total tackles through 10 games, the second most of any Broncos defender. Hufanga will look to build upon this momentum in Week 11 when the Broncos host the Chiefs.

Hufanga (chest) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. The safety surfaced on the injury report Wednesday with the chest issue, as he was only able to practice on a limited basis. Hufanga's status will still be worth monitoring Friday, but he appears on track to play in Week 3 against the Chargers. The offseason signing has played on nearly every defensive snap through two contests, recording 21 tackles (nine solo) and a forced fumble.
