  • Krull underwent surgery to repair the the fractured fifth metatarsal in his left foot Monday and is expected to be out for eight weeks, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports. Krull broke his left foot in early October, which prompted his placement on injured reserve. The eight-week timeline puts the 27-year-old tight end on pace to return by the end of the regular season or for the start of the postseason, should the Broncos qualify. With Krull on IR and Nate Adkins sustaining a knee injury during Denver's Week 8 win over Dallas, Evan Engram and Adam Trautman are the only healthy tight ends on the Broncos' active roster.

  • Krull (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles. The foot injury is a new one, as he appeared on Friday's practice report as a DNP. The injury is severe enough for him to be ruled out for Sunday's contest, though his absence won't make too much of an impact as he was a healthy scratch for the Broncos' Week 4 win against the Bengals. With Krull sidelined, Denver's tight end room will consist of Evan Engram, Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins.

  • Broncos' Lucas Krull: Tendered by Denver
    By RotoWire

Krull was tendered a contract by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Krull entered the offseason as an exclusive-rights free agent and he will now stick around in Denver for a third season, earning $1.03 million. The tight end caught 19 of 23 targets for 152 yards over 13 regular-season games in 2024, and he'll look to carve out a greater role for himself next season.

  • Krull finished the 2024 season with 19 catches on 23 targets for 152 yards and no touchdowns. Krull played 13 games in the 2024 campaign after appearing in just seven games in 2023. The 26-year-old tight end recorded career highs in catches, targets and yards this season while splitting playing time with fellow tight ends Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins. Krull paced the group in receptions and targets, as he became more involved in Denver's offense in his second season with the Broncos. The Pittsburgh product will enter this offseason as an exclusive-rights free agent, giving the Broncos the ability to retain Krull as long as they offer him at least a one-year, league-minimum contract. Either way, Krull will look to take a step forward after gaining more experience this season.
