  Tillman caught one of two targets for two yards in Sunday's 18-13 win over Jacksonville. Tillman, who played 26 snaps for the second straight week, had just two of the 27 targets allocated to wideouts in the win. He's fourth on the depth chart, which means limited opportunities behind Amari Cooper (eight targets), Jerry Jeudy (six) and Elijah Moore (eight). Tillman has two receptions on three targets for five yards through two games.

  Tillman caught his lone target for three yards in Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Cowboys in Week 1. Tillman served as the No. 4 wideout, playing 26 snaps, as the Browns leaned heavily on their top three of Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore. None of those three were productive in the loss, but that was mainly due to an ugly performance by quarterback Deshaun Watson (51.1 QB rating) behind a patchwork offensive line.

  Tillman caught one of two targets for three yards in Saturday's 23-10 preseason loss to the Packers. While he didn't make much of an impact, Tillman got the start for Cleveland and both his targets came on the team's opening drive with Jameis Winston under center. The offseason addition of Jerry Jeudy (leg) pushed Tillman down the depth chart at wide receiver, but the 2023 third-round pick still has a chance to overtake Elijah Moore for the No. 3 spot before the regular season begins.

  Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer and Zac Jackson of The Athletic suggest that Tillman (concussion) is a candidate to take a step forward in his second season as a pro. Per Cabot, the Browns figure to frequently employ Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore in three-receiver sets, but Tillman nonetheless should see his share of opportunities as the season progresses, especially if injuries hit the aforementioned trio. As a rookie, the 2023 third-round pick recorded a 21-224-0 line on 44 targets in 14 regular-season games, but if he's able to carve out steadier playing time in 2024, the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder -- who missed Cleveland's wild-card loss to the Texans with a concussion -- could emerge as a solid complementary option alongside the team's top pass catchers. Also in the mix for snaps in the Browns' WR corps are 2022 third-rounder David Bell and 2024 fifth-rounder Jamari Thrash.

• Browns' Cedric Tillman: Fails to score TD in rookie season

  Tillman (concussion) finished the 2023 season with 21 catches for 224 yards on 44 targets and added an eight-yard run. Tillman dressed in 14 games as a rookie and took on a larger role down the stretch before missing last weekend's wild-card round playoff loss to the Texans due to a concussion. He's expected to be healthy for OTAs, and while the 2023 third-round draft pick out of Tennessee put up underwhelming numbers in his first NFL campaign, he could benefit from more stability at quarterback in his second season. Five quarterbacks started at least one game for the Browns in 2023: Deshaun Watson (shoulder), Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip), PJ Walker, Joe Flacco and Jeff Driskel.
