Taylor-Britt was targeted eight times against the Ravens in Week 10, giving up seven catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. One of those three scores was Tylan Wallace's long touchdown that started as a five-yard out where Taylor-Britt missed the tackle. Taylor-Britt's failures against the Ravens are emblematic of both his struggles this season and the Bengals' overall shortcomings defensively. He was supposed to be their best corner but has regressed instead. At least some small portion of his struggles can be attributed to the Bengals' poor pass rush that is forcing him to maintain coverage longer, but by almost any metric, he's also played worse on his own.

Taylor-Britt recorded nine tackles (six solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 37-17 loss versus the Eagles. Taylor-Britt's tackle total is fine for the box score, but it's also a reflection of Cincinnati's overall struggles in the secondary in a runaway loss. He'll at least be on the very edge of IDP relevance as long as he continues to be on the field for virtually every defensive snap for the Bengals.

Taylor-Britt recorded 50 tackles (40 solo), 11 pass breakups, four interceptions (one pick-six) and one forced fumble across 12 regular-season appearances with the Bengals in 2023. Taylor-Britt logged a five-game stint on IR due to a quad injury, but when healthy he played close to an every-down role in Cincinnati's secondary. While Taylor-Britt hasn't proven to be the most reliable option in coverage, he did take a step forward as a playmaker after having finished his 10-game rookie season without a single takeaway. Now heading into the third year of his rookie deal, Taylor-Britt figures to remain a key factor in the Bengals' secondary.

The Bengals placed Taylor-Britt (ankle) on their injured reserve list Monday. Taylor-Britt had already been ruled out for Week 13 at Jacksonville, but now he'll be forced to miss Cincinnati's next three games after that one as well. His absence will force the Bengals to lean on Mike Hilton, DJ Turner and Chidobe Awuzie to carry the load at cornerback for the immediate future.

Taylor-Britt (quad) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. The second-year cornerback out of Nebraska was held out of practice all week, and he's now in line to miss his first contest of the season. Taylor-Britt has been an integral part of Cincinnati's secondary this season, logging 46 total tackles, 10 pass deflections and four interceptions in 10 games. With Taylor-Britt missing time, DJ Turner and Mike Hilton are expected to see an uptick in snaps on the Bengals' defense.
