Williams (hand) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Williams managed to upgrade to full practice participation Friday, just in time to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's contest. The linebacker played 100 percent of defensive snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Dolphins and has not dropped below a 71 percent snap share since returning from a shoulder injury in Week 8.

Williams (hand) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Williams' upgrade in participation bodes well for his chances to be able to suit up for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars. The outside linebacker has one more practice to prove he should be free of an injury designation, and it may be key that he is. The Jets' linebacker corps is littered with injuries, and with Francisco Mauigoa (neck) also listed as questionable, Kobe King is the sole outside linebacker who is guaranteed to be ready for Sunday.

Williams recorded seven tackles (two solo) and 1.0 sacks in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins. Williams now has 3.5 sacks this season, marking a career high in the category through just nine games. The 29-year-old linebacker has averaged just 6.5 tackles per game, which leaves a low floor for fantasy purposes, but it should help that he has played all but one defensive snap over the last three weeks.

Williams finished with seven tackles (three solo) and two pass breakups in Sunday's 39-38 win over the Bengals. The outside linebacker missed the previous four games with a shoulder injury. Williams is up to 22 tackles (11 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four passes defensed on the season. He's played most of the defensive snaps this season when available, and that shouldn't change after the Jets' Week 9 bye.

Williams (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals. The Jets activated Williams from injured reserve Saturday, and the 2019 third-rounder has been officially cleared to return from a four-game absence due to a shoulder injury. He'll likely see a heavy dose of defensive snaps in his return, which means there will be less opportunities for Ja'Markis Weston and Mykal Walker to see the field on defense.
