We'll see if Evan Engram (hamstring) can play in Week 3 at Buffalo, but if he's out again, then Strange can be an option in deeper leagues. In Week 2 against Cleveland, Strange had a career day with three catches for 65 yards on six targets. Keep an eye on Engram during the week, but Strange is worth adding in deeper formats for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

Strange caught three of six targets for 65 yards during Sunday's 18-13 loss to the Browns. Starting tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) was a late scratch for Sunday's contest, and Strange took advantage of the opportunity as he nearly doubled his career total for receiving yards. The 2023 second-round pick played 41 of 60 offensive snaps and finished second on the team in targets. Engram's availability for Week 3 remains up in the air, so there's a chance Strange works as Jacksonville's No. 1 tight end for a second straight week next Monday in Buffalo. The latter appears to have the edge for playing time over Luke Farrell, who caught both his targets for 13 yards while playing 28 offensive snaps Sunday.

Strange wasn't targeted during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins. The 2023 second-round pick out-snapped Luke Farrell 19 to 14 on offense, but starter Evan Engram was the only Jacksonville tight end to be involved in the passing game. Strange caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games as a rookie last year, and he's again opened 2024 in a minor role.

Strange finished the season with five catches on nine targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games. The rookie second-round pick's first year in the NFL wasn't a particularly notable one, as he worked as Jacksonville's No. 3 tight end. Both Evan Engram and Luke Farrell remain under contract in 2024, but the latter is primarily a blocking tight end. Given the draft capital used to acquire Strange, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him move into a larger role next year.

Strange (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. The tight end missed the Jaguars' last three games and was limited in practice throughout the week. Strange enters Sunday's contest as Jacksonville's third tight end behind Evan Engram and Luke Farrell. Strange has four catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on 246 offensive snaps this season.
