Wilson (knee) won't have his window to resume practicing opened Wednesday, and head coach Aaron Glenn reiterated that a decision on Wilson's status moving forward will be made by team doctors, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Wilson has been on injured reserve since aggravating a knee injury in Week 10 against the Browns. He is eligible to have his practice window opened at any point moving forward, but it's unclear when or if that will occur. Glenn's answer to the media Wednesday regarding Wilson's status didn't differ from the information Glenn offered Monday. At this point, the Jets are preparing to move forward with John Metchie and Adonai Mitchell as their top two wide receivers for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Wilson (knee) is eligible to come off IR this week, but coach Aaron Glenn noted Monday that a determination regarding the wideout's status hinges on a medical decision between Wilson and the Jets doctors, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Wilson last saw game action in Week 10, but it remains unclear if or when he'll return to the lineup as Jets' last four games approach. With the team 3-10 and out of playoff contention, there's no reason to hurry Wilson back, and if he remains sidelined this coming Sunday against the Jaguars, John Metchie, Adonai Mitchell and Isaiah Williams would continue to lead New York's WR corps.

Head coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that he thinks Wilson (knee) will play again in 2025, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Wilson was placed on IR prior to Thursday's loss to the Patriots. He will sit out a minimum of three more games, so the earliest Wilson could return would be Week 15 against the Jaguars. It's encouraging for Wilson's fantasy managers that the Jets haven't committed to shutting their top receiver down for the season, even though the Jets are out of the playoff hunt at 2-8.

Wilson (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game at New England. Wilson didn't practice at all this week, with reports suggesting he'll likely miss 3-to-4 games after re-injuring his knee during Sunday's win over Cleveland. Arian Smith, Tyler Johnson and Isaiah Williams got the most playing time among the other Jets' WRs on Sunday, but Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie could take on larger roles in the coming weeks.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that Wilson (knee) is still having his injury evaluated and will undergo an MRI, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports. Wilson returned to action Week 10 despite being initially listed as questionable with a knee injury that had sidelined him since Week 6. It's unclear whether his current knee issue is an aggravation or a new occurrence, but testing on the Jets' No. 1 wideout's knee should provide some clarity. Wilson did not secure any of his three targets before exiting versus Cleveland, and at this stage his status has to be considered up in the air for Thursday's divisional contest against the Patriots. Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Glenn said Wilson will "hopefully" be able to play Thursday but "I don't want to stamp that just yet."
