Porter (elbow) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Porter was able to upgrade to a full participant Friday, just a day after sustaining an elbow injury. The starting cornerback is set to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup alongside fellow starter James Pierre, who was also cleared of injury designation. With both outside corners healthy, it remains to be seen how the Steelers plan to use recently acquired Asante Samuel.

Porter (elbow) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports. Porter appeared on the injury report Thursday with an elbow injury, but he was still able to log a limited session. The ability to practice with a new injury bodes well for the starting cornerback's chances to suit up for Sunday's divisional contest with the Ravens. If the 2023 second-rounder is ultimately unable to suit up versus Baltimore, however, the recently signed Asante Samuel will likely take over at outside cornerback.

Porter missed some practice time with the injury this week after he was injured in last Sunday's loss to the Bears, but the cornerback is good to go for the Week 13 date with Buffalo. Porter has recorded 28 tackles (20 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and 11 pass breakups, including one interception, across eight appearances this season.

Porter's status comes as no surprise, as Mike Tomlin previously announced he would be limited in practice throughout the week. However, the 25-year-old is still expected to be good to go for Sunday's game versus Buffalo.
