Skinner (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Skinner sustained an ankle injury during the Broncos' Week 2 loss to the Steelers. The injury was severe enough to keep him from practicing all week, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 4 against the Jets on Sept. 29. Devon Key will serve as the top rotational safety Sunday behind starters P.J. Locke and Brandon Jones.
