Smith-Njigba finished with seven receptions (on 13 targets) for 180 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams. Smith-Njigba produced his finest stat line as a pro despite his team taking the loss Sunday. It was the sophomore's first game with two touchdowns while recording over 100 receiving yards. Smith-Njigba will enter Seattle's bye week with a respectable 50-568-3 receiving line across nine games, setting up a Nov. 17 matchup against San Francisco in Week 11.

DK Metcalf (knee) and Noah Fant (groin) are both out in Week 9 against the Rams, which should help Smith-Njigba continue to make plays. I like Smith-Njigba as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. In Week 8 against Buffalo with Metcalf out, Smith-Njigba had six catches for 69 yards on seven targets. He has five games this season with at least seven targets this season, and he scored at least 12.9 PPR points in four of them. The Rams have allowed five receivers to score at least 13.7 PPR points this season, and I expect Geno Smith to lean heavily on Smith-Njigba in Week 9 with Metcalf and Fant out.

Smith-Njigba brought in six of seven targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. Unlike last week's lopsided win that resulted in single-digit yardage for Smith-Njigba, this week's loss saw the Seahawks throw the ball for nearly the entire second half. The result was a stronger performance for the sophomore wideout despite his team taking a nasty loss. Smith-Njigba has seen his role increase in his second year as a pro, providing a 43/388/1 receiving line through eight games.

I like Smith-Njigba as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver any time the Seahawks are going to be in a potential shootout, and that should be the case again in Week 7 at Atlanta. He has three games in a row with at least seven targets, and he scored 13.1 PPR points in two of those outings. The Falcons are No. 11 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and all seven receivers with at least seven targets against Atlanta this season have scored at least 13.5 PPR points. Let's hope Smith-Njigba, DK Metcalf, and even Tyler Lockett all get seven-plus targets this week.

Smith-Njigba brought in five of nine targets for 53 yards and committed a fumble recovered by Seattle in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. Smith-Njigba got off to a slow start, but he finished third in both receptions and receiving yards and second in targets by night's end. The second-year wideout has enjoyed a robust role in offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb's system on most weeks thus far, logging at least seven targets in three straight games and four occasions overall. Smith-Njigba also has at least four receptions in three consecutive contests heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 20.
