• Texans' C.J. Stroud: Tosses pair of TDs in win

  Stroud completed 18 of 26 passes for 131 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and added four yards on six rushes in the Texans' 20-12 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also lost a fumble. Stroud salvaged a performance that featured his second-lowest passing yardage total of the season with a pair of six-yard touchdown passes to Nico Collins in the second and third quarters, respectively. Otherwise, the talented second-year signal-caller scuffled against an aggressive and talented Dolphins defense that sacked him four times. Stroud has a pair of multi-touchdown-pass efforts within a three-game span for only the second time all season heading into a Week 16 Saturday afternoon road showdown against the Chiefs.

  Stroud has gone seven games in a row with fewer than 20 Fantasy points, but hopefully he's better coming off the Week 14 bye. That said, he's struggled in some great matchups recently against Dallas in Week 11 (10.9 Fantasy points), Tennessee in Week 12 (19.7 points) and Jacksonville in Week 13 (16.4 points). Since Week 6, Stroud has only five touchdowns and five interceptions, and the Dolphins have allowed just four quarterbacks all season to score at least 20 Fantasy points. I would only start Stroud in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

• Texans' C.J. Stroud: Solid performance in Week 13 win

  Stroud completed 22 of 34 passes for 242 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and added five rushes for seven yards in the Texans' 23-20 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Stroud put together a solid performance that saw him spread the ball around to seven different targets and put together his first interception-free effort in the last four games. Stroud connected with Dalton Schultz from 22 yards out early in the fourth quarter for his only touchdown of the game, and he's now thrown for at least 232 yards in four consecutive contests while generating a 4:5 TD:INT in that same span. Stroud and the Texans next host the Dolphins for a Week 15 matchup Sunday, Dec. 15 following a Week 14 bye.

  Stroud has scored fewer than 20 Fantasy points in six games in a row, but he came close to ending that streak in Week 12 against Tennessee with 19.7 points. He needs to eliminate the turnovers since he has five interceptions in his past three games, but he has a great matchup against the Jaguars in Week 13. Jacksonville is No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and only three quarterbacks this season have failed to score at least 20.6 Fantasy points. Last year, Stroud scored at least 24.6 Fantasy points in each game against the Jaguars, and this game feels like the perfect slumpbuster for Stroud in Week 13.

• Texans' C.J. Stroud: Inconsistent showing in loss

  Stroud completed 20 of 33 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 32-27 loss to the Titans. He added three rushes for 18 yards. Stroud took advantage of excellent field position to throw for a 19-yard touchdown on his first pass attempt of the game. He continued his strong start by connecting with Nico Collins and Tank Dell for explosive gains of 54 and 39 yards while also connecting with Collins for a five-yard touchdown pass -- all of which came prior to halftime. However, Stroud was sacked four times in the second half and picked up just 98 passing yards on 16 attempts, leading to a disappointing loss. Positively, Stroud threw for multiple touchdowns for the first time since Week 5.
