  Jarrett secured his only target for nine yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. A week after making his season debut, Jarrett saw a notable boost to 46 snaps (84 percent) to lead all of the Buccaneers' short-handed receiving corps. However, the second-year wideout saw a drop in production after generating a 3-58 line on just 20 plays from scrimmage in Week 8, despite the ongoing absences of Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (IR, ankle), as well as that of Jalen McMillan (hamstring). Even factoring in Monday's disappointing numbers, Jarrett should again have a solid opportunity in a Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers.

  Jarrett brought in all three targets for 58 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. Jarrett was making his season debut after overcoming a preseason knee injury, and he finished with the Buccaneers' second-highest yardage total despite playing just 20 snaps (27 percent). The Maryland product could continue carving out a steady role over the next two games considering Mike Evans (hamstring) isn't expected back until after the Week 11 bye, and at least Sunday, Jarrett was more productive than all of Jalen McMillan, Trey Palmer, Sterling Shepard and Ryan Miller, the receivers in front of him on the depth chart.

  Jarrett (knee) is active for Sunday's matchup against Atlanta, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers official site reports. Jarrett began the season on injured reserve after undergoing offseason knee surgery. He's been working his way back into action and was able to log a trio of full practices this week, setting up his activation from IR on Saturday. Jarrett had just four catches on nine targets for 60 yards over 10 games as a rookie last year, but he has a chance to make an impression Sunday given the depleted state of Tampa Bay's receiver corps, as both Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) will not be suiting up.

  The Buccaneers announced Saturday that Jarrett (knee) has been activated from IR, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports. Jarrett is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons, but it's encouraging to see him activated from IR in advance of the divisional matchup. If he's able to suit up Sunday, Jarrett will have opportunities to contribute in a Tampa Bay wide receiver corps that's without Mike Evans (hamstring) for Week 8 and Chris Godwin (knee) for the remainder of the year.

  Tampa Bay placed Jarrett (undisclosed) on its injured reserve list with a designation to return Monday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports. The transaction means Jarrett will have to sit out for at least the first four games of the season but will be eligible to return come Week 5. Whether there's space for him on the 53-man roster at that point may depend on the health of the Buccaneers' other wide receivers.
