  • In his second year as a pro, Warren is a candidate to see his role in the Colts offense continue to grow, according to Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis. As a rookie, the 2025 first-rounder turned a team-high 112 targets into a 76/817/4 receiving line in 17 regular-season contests. As the coming campaign approaches, Warren, as well as WRs Alec Pierce and Josh Downs could see added pass-catching opportunities, with WR Michael Pittman -- who logged 111 targets last season -- having been traded to Pittsburgh. To that end, coach Shane Steichen notes that the second-year TE has been "working on his body and just getting into great physical shape, and coming in and out of breaks...he's made some good plays out here in practice in seven-on-seven, some team situations. So, looking for the next steps in his development.'' In terms of current average draft position, Trey McBride and Brock Bowers lead the way among tight ends, but Warren figures to fall into the next tier of quality fantasy options at the position once the top duo is off the board.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)
    By Jamey Eisenberg

Warren had three catches for 22 yards and a touchdown on four targets in Week 13 against Houston, and that's the last time he scored double digits in PPR. It's also the last healthy game he played with Daniel Jones (Achilles), and we'll see if Riley Leonard can help Warren's production since he has struggled in the past three games with Philip Rivers. Despite getting 20 targets over that span against Seattle, San Francisco and Jacksonville, Warren has combined for just 11 catches for 92 yards and no touchdowns. I'm not confident in Warren playing well in this matchup, and he's only worth starting in deeper leagues.

  • Warren recorded five receptions on five targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Jaguars. Philip Rivers spread targets around to a wide range of pass catchers, as at least five Colts earned at least three targets. Warren was second among the group, though he led the team in yardage thanks to long gains of 14 and 12 yards. This marked his highest yardage total in a game since Week 12, and he should remain a key part of the offense in Week 18 against the Texans, even with Indianapolis eliminated from playoff contention.

  • Warren brought in three of nine targets for 30 yards in the Colts' 48-27 loss to the 49ers on Monday night. Warren tied Josh Downs for the team lead in targets, but he wasn't anywhere near as productive as his teammate. The rookie tight end now has been at 45 receiving yards or fewer in five straight games, a far cry from the 61.7 receiving yards he averaged over his first 10 career contests. Warren has seen 15 targets over his first two games with Philip Rivers, however, affording him upside despite recent struggles in a Week 17 home matchup versus the Jaguars.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Contrarian DFS Play
    By Heath Cummings

Warren is more expensive than Fannin, which makes him a bad play this week, at least according to the projections. I am willing to take that type of risk for a contrarian player when I am getting a great player in a great matchup. Seattle has given up the second most points to tight ends this year, and I expect the Colts will be playing from behind. Again, this is only as a contrarian play, but it's a great one.
