Reichard made all three of his field-goal attempts during the Vikings' 9-3 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Sunday's NFC North showdown was a low-scoring affair given the wind and rain. Reichard was able to do his part by supplying all of the points for the Vikings with made field goals from 35, 49 and 39 yards. Dating back to the end of the 2025 season, the third-year pro has connected on three field goals in four of his last five games. Reichard has made all four of his field-goal tries and each of his four extra-point attempts to open the 2026 regular season.

Pineiro (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Pineiro drew the questionable tag due to an illness, but he's been cleared to play in Sunday's home opener. He went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and connected on all three of his extra-point tries during the 49ers' Week 1 win over the Rams.

Grupe (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Despite Grupe being signed to the 53-man roster, the Jets have opted to elevate Jason Sanders from the practice squad for a second consecutive week to serve as the team's kicker. Grupe's spot on the roster is in jeopardy, though he would certainly be in line to take over as the Jets' kicker if Sanders struggles.

The Jets elevated Sanders from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Amanda Vogt of the team's official site reports.

Sanders will come up from the practice squad for the second week in a row to handle kicking duties for the Jets. Though Blake Grupe is signed to the 53-man roster, the Jets could eventually move on from him to open up a full-time spot for Sanders if he performs well enough to hold down the kicking job. In his team debut in last Sunday's win over the Titans, Sanders converted on both of his point-after tries and connected on field goals of 33, 51 and 52 yards while missing badly from 54 yards.

Pineiro (illness) is expected to be active Sunday against the Dolphins, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 49ers ended up trying out two kickers Saturday -- Greg Joseph and Younghoe Koo -- but won't sign either of them to the practice squad, meaning Pineiro will handle his normal placekicking duties in Week 2. In 15 regular-season games with San Francisco going back to the 2025 campaign, Pineiro has netted 30 of 32 field-goal attempts and 37 of 41 point-after tries.

Pineiro (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Pineiro has been battling an illness during Week 2 prep and thus is in danger of sitting out Sunday. Coach Kyle Shanahan told Matt Barrows of The Athletic on Friday that the 49ers will sign a kicker to the practice squad and then elevate him in the event Pineiro isn't able to play this weekend, but who that kicker may be isn't known.

Sanders will remain the Jets' kicker for Sunday's game against the Packers, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Blake Grupe remains on the active roster for the Jets, but for the second time in as many weeks Sanders will be brought up from the practice squad to handle the kicking duties. Sanders made three of four field-goal attempts -- his lone miss came from 54 yards -- and both of his extra-point tries in Week 1, and another steady showing would help him secure his grasp on the job.

Bates hit five of his six extra-point attempts in Thursday's 41-31 win over the Lions.

When the kicker missed, Amazon Prime announcer Al Michaels joked that it was the only thing that had gone wrong for Buffalo on the night. To be fair to Bass, he did make field goals from 46, 34 and 33 yards and all three of his extra-point attempts in Week 1. He is also clearly still a fantasy-relevant option as the kicker for a high-flying offense led by Josh Allen and James Cook.

Bates made all four of his extra-point attempts and his only field-goal try in Thursday's 41-31 loss to the Bills.

The field-goal attempt came from 31 yards out. Detroit's season has been up and down so far, but Bates has been steady, making all eight of his extra-point tries and both field-goal attempts through two games. He remains the kicker on a high-scoring offense.

Pineiro has missed consecutive practices to open the week as he battles an illness, and his status for Sunday's matchup against Miami remains in question. The 31-year-old will have one more chance to practice Friday. If he can't go this week, San Francisco will have to sign a free agent to handle the team's starting kicker role for Week 2.
