York converted two of three field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday's 23-20 loss to Baltimore in Week 7.

Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski sent York on prior to the two-minute warning for a 55-yard attempt, but an illegal motion penalty on Michael Dunn pushed it back another five yards. The 60-yarder was blocked, scuttling Cleveland's chances. For what it's worth, replays didn't indicate Dunn moved much, if at all, and a case could be made that the Ravens jumped into the neutral zone, triggering the motion, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Stefanski said he didn't get a good explanation from officials, who huddled for a lengthy period of time before ruling on the infraction, and will seek a better one from the league. York has 16 field-goal attempts in 2022, eighth most in the NFL.

Gano made all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in a 23-17 Week 7 win over Jacksonville.

Gano wasn't tasked with any tough tries in the contest -- his longest field-goal attempt was from just 34 yards out -- but he converted each time he was called upon. His final field goal with just over one minute remaining in the contest extended New York's lead to six points, ensuring that the Jaguars would need a TD to mount a comeback (they fell one yard short). The Giants have surprisingly started the season 6-1, and none of their wins have come by more than eight points. With such narrow margins and an offense that has put up no more than 27 points thus far, Gano's reliable kicking -- he's 15-for-17 on field-goal tries and 13-for-13 on extra-point attempts -- looms especially large.

Badgley converted two of two field-goal attempts during Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Cowboys.

Badgley converted field goals from 40 and 53 yards out in what amounted to Detroit's only points of the game. However, Detroit's five offensive turnovers prevented the team from ending any other drives on a positive note. It will be interesting to see if the healthy returns of D'Andre Swift (shoulder) and possibly Amon-Ra St. Brown (concussion) will help the offense get back on track in Week 8 against Miami.

Badgley was elevated from the Lions' practice squad Saturday.

This makes three practice squad elevations for him, meaning the Lions will either need to sign Badgley to the active roster next week or find a new kicker. In two starts, Badgley has gone 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and also connected on both of his extra-point tries.

Blankenship reverted back to Arizona's practice squad Friday.

Blankenship was elevated to the active roster prior to Thursday's win over the Saints, and he connected on both his field-goal attempts while going 2-for-3 on extra-point tries. However, his status with the Cardinals is dependent on the status of Matt Prater, who has missed three straight games due to a hip injury. Prater could return to the field as soon as next Sunday versus Minnesota.

Lutz went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts while making all four of his extra-point tries in Thursday's 42-34 loss to Cardinals.

Lutz was once again perfect Thursday, making two field goals in the contest. The first came in the third quarter from 25 yards and the other was a 45-yarder late in the fourth. Lutz was also able to go 4-for-4 on point-after attempts, improving to 16-for-16 on the year. The kicker has been a solid fantasy option this season and could be busy again when the Saints face the Raiders' uninspiring defense in Week 8.

Blankenship will serve as the Cardinals' placekicker Thursday versus the Saints with Matt Prater (hip) sidelined, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

With Prater out for a third consecutive contest, Blankenship will be the second kicker to stand in for him after Matt Ammendola handled those duties Weeks 5-6. In parts of three seasons with the Colts, Blankenship made 45 of 53 field-goal attempts and 52 of 55 point-after tries, which amounted to 8.5 points per game in his 22 appearances.

Prater (hip) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Saints.

Prater thus will miss a third contest in a row as he tends to a right hip injury. This time around, Rodrigo Blankenship instead of Matt Ammendola will handle placekicking duties for the Cardinals. Prater will look to rest up for the Cardinals' next outing Sunday, Oct. 30 in Minnesota.

The Cardinals elevated Blankenship from their practice squad Thursday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Blankenship was signed to Arizona's practice squad Tuesday, and he could serve as the team's top kicker for Thursday night's matchup against the Saints if Matt Prater (hip) -- who's currently questionable to play -- is eventually ruled inactive for a third consecutive contest. The 25-year-old was let go by Indianapolis after going 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on extra-point tries in Week 1.

Prater (hip) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against New Orleans and is considered a game-time decision, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

If Prater doesn't play, the Cardinals presumably will turn to Rodrigo Blankenship, who was signed to the practice squad Tuesday after Arizona cut Matt Ammendola. Prater missed the past two games and is in danger of missing a third after he was held out of practice all week.
