  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Patriots' Nick Folk: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Folk (knee) was listed as a limited participant at the Patriots' practice Wednesday.

Folk has been dealing with an aggravated left knee injury since before the 2021 season began. The kicker has managed to play in every game so far this year even though he's been limited at practice leading up to multiple games. The 36-year-old should be able to suit up Sunday barring any major setbacks.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

    Joey Slye: Waived by 49ers

Slye was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The kicker was let go Tuesday after starting the last three games for San Francisco. The move was made because Robbie Gould (groin) is expected to be activated this week. Slye went 7-for-8 on field goals for the team and 2-for-4 on PATs, but will now be claimed by another team, added to San Francisco's practice squad or released.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Misses field goal

McManus missed one of his two field-goal attempts but made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 17-10 win over Washington.

McManus converted from 45 yards prior to missing a 53-yarder wide right in the fourth quarter. The veteran now sports 55 points through eight games, placing just outside the top 10 league-wide at his position.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Just three points

Prater did not attempt a field goal but made all three of his extra-point tries in Week 8's 24-21 loss to the Packers.

Prater was only called upon for PATs and has now attempted just one field goal over the Cardinals' past two games. Despite his season-low tally in Week 8, the veteran still sports 66 points so far, trailing just three kickers league-wide.

  • Greg Joseph K | LV

Vikings' Greg Joseph: Converts all four kicks

Joseph made all three field-goal attempts from 45, 40 and 24 yards and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to Dallas.

Joseph has made 10 of 13 field-goal attempts the last three games with misses from 47, 50 and 49 yards. He's eight of 11 from 40 yards or more, but should keep his job if he continues to make the easier attempts. He's eight of nine from under 40 yards and has converted 13 of 14 extra-point attempts.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Deposits game-winning kick

Butker knocked home both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts Monday versus the Giants.

Butker's fantasy value hasn't been quite on the level that was expected with the Chiefs' offense struggling to rack up points consistently. His kicks Monday included a clutch make from 34 yards with just over a minute left, which proved to be the game-winning tally. The offense may need to kick it into gear next week, however, to keep pace with a streaking Packers squad, which could lead to more kicks for Butker.

  • Cowboys' Greg Zuerlein: Eight points in win

Zuerlein connected on two of three field-goal attempts and both of his PATs in Sunday's win over the Vikings.

He misfired on a 43-yard FG attempt on the Cowboys' first possession of the night, but Zuerlein was perfect after that in a 20-16 victory. The veteran kicker has booted multiple field goals in three straight games and five of seven to begin the season, giving him a strong fantasy floor, and his ceiling is elite with Dak Prescott (calf) expected to rejoin the lineup for a Week 9 clash with the Broncos.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Perfect in Week 8

Gano made both extra-point attempts and one short field goal during Monday's 20-17 loss against the Chiefs.

Gano was perfect for the third straight week as the Giants nearly knocked off the defending AFC champions on Monday. The Giants had the last possession in a close loss, but they failed to set Gano up in field-goal range to try and tie the game. The veteran kicker has yet to miss an extra point (10-for-10) and is 16-for-18 in field-goal tries on the season. Gano has remained an average fantasy kicker option in a low-scoring offense as the Giants have been very inefficient with red-zone opportunities this year, resulting in a lot of short field-goal attempts.

  • Chargers' Dustin Hopkins: Perfect in Week 8

Hopkins made all three extra-point attempts and one field goal for 48 yards during Sunday's 27-24 loss against the Patriots.

Hopkins was released two weeks ago by Washington and promptly made his debut with the Chargers after the team cut struggling kicker Tristan Vizcaino. The 31-year-old placekicker has made 13 of 15 field-goal attempts along with 13 of 15 extra-point tries on the season. Hopkins remains a viable fantasy option in a high-powered Chargers offense.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Accuracy issues continue

Sanders converted one of two field-goal attempts during Sunday's 26-11 loss to the Bills.

The Dolphins' first offensive drive came up short when Sanders missed a 36-yard field-goal try, though he did slightly make up for things by converting a 51-yarder in the second quarter. Through eight appearances this season, Sanders has converted just eight of 12 field-goal attempts (67 percent). He will look to get back on track versus Houston on Nov. 7.
