  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: In stellar form Sunday

McLaughlin converted all three field-goal attempts -- from 56, 34 and 29 yards -- while also drilling all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.

McLaughlin had a somewhat rocky preseason, but when the proverbial lights came on in Week 1, the veteran kicker was as good as he looked during a career-best 2023 season. McLaughlin kicked all his field goals in the first half, starting with the 56-yarder that capped off Tampa Bay's first possession. McLaughlin was an elite 7-for-8 from 50+ yards a season ago, and his perfect start Sunday combined with the efficiency demonstrated by Baker Mayfield and the offense appears to bode well for the veteran kicker's chances of replicating his success this season.

  • Matt Prater K | ARI

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Makes all four kicks Sunday

Prater netted both field-goal attempts and both point-after tries during Sunday's 34-28 defeat in Buffalo.

Now in his fourth campaign with the Cardinals, Prater got the season off on the right foot by making all of his kicks, something that he did 11 times in 17 games last year. His FGAs were relatively low risk, though, as they came from 29 and 31 yards out, which lines up with his success rate (93.6 percent) from less than 40 yards during his time in Arizona prior to 2024. With eight points after Week 1, Prater ranks 15th in the NFL in scoring among placekickers.

  • Blake Grupe K | NO

Saints' Blake Grupe: Nails all four field-goal tries

Grupe was 4-for-4 field-goal attempts and 5-for-5 on point-after tries during Sunday's 47-10 victory against the Panthers.

Grupe showed out with four made field-goal attempts that all came from 39 yards or beyond. This included a career-long 57-yarder in the first quarter, followed by a 44-yarder and a 52-yarder in the second quarter. Across 17 regular-season games in 2023, the second-year pro out of Notre Dame went 30-for-37 on field-goal tries and only 14-for-19 on attempts of 40 or more yards. Therefore, Grupe going 3-for-3 on such attempts Sunday is an encouraging sign for his production moving forward this season. He'll look to remain perfect during next Sunday's road matchup in Dallas.

  • Nick Folk K | TEN

Titans' Nick Folk: Perfect in Week 1

Folk made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Bears.

Folk had a limited chance to make an impact on the game but converted when called upon. He had an excellent 2023 season during which he made 29 of his 30 field-goal attempts, and he started the new campaign in similar form.

  • Spencer Shrader: Reverts to practice squad

Shrader reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Monday.

Shrader converted on all three of his extra-point attempts Sunday while filling in for Matt Gay (sports hernia) as the Colts' starting kicker. If Gay ends up being unable to play versus the Packers in Week 2, Shrader could be elevated once again.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

    Seahawks' Jason Myers: Hits 50-yarder

Myers connected on both of his field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Broncos.

Myers started the 2024 season perfect with field goals from 28 and 50 yards. Last season, Myers made just four of eight field goals from 50 yards and beyond, and he was perfect on 33 extra-point tries. Myers will ride this momentum into a Week 2 matchup versus the Patriots' stout defense.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Perfect in opener

Fairbairn successfully converted all three field-goal attempts and both extra-point kicks in Sunday's 29-27 win over the Colts in Week 1.

Fairbairn put the Texans on top early, drilling a 51-yarder midway through the first quarter. The eighth-year veteran then tacked on a 50-yarder and another one from 51. With the perfect day, Fairbairn picked up where he left off in 2023, when he had just two misses (one FGA, one XPA) over 50 combined kicks and made five of six from beyond the 50.

  • Cam Little K | JAC

Jaguars' Cam Little: Perfect in NFL debut

Little made his lone field-goal attempt and both extra-point attempts during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins.

The rookie sixth-round pick converted from 53 yards during the second quarter for the first field goal of his NFL career, but Jacksonville's offense was unable to get on the scoreboard during the second half. It's still too early to declare Little a reliable kicking option, especially since the Jaguars' offensive inconsistency from 2023 appears to have carried over to this year.

  • Joshua Karty K | LAR

Rams' Joshua Karty: Perfect in debut performance

Karty connected on both of his field-goal attempts and converted both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Lions.

Through one game, the Rams' kicker, a position that was a major point of concern last season, seems to have developed some stability. Karty came through with a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter before drilling a 26-yard attempt in the fourth. The sixth-round rookie from Stanford continued to build on a solid preseason (5-of-6 on field goals) and should continue to have plenty of opportunities to produce against the Cardinals in Week 2.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Makes both field-goal tries Week 1

Gano converted both of his field-goal attempts and didn't try an extra point in Sunday's Week 1 loss to Minnesota.

Gano was one of the few bright spots for New York in the lopsided defeat, as he converted a 23-yard field goal in the first quarter and added a 50-yarder in the fourth. It was a much better showing than he had in Week 1 last year, when the veteran kicker missed both of his field-goal tries. Gano's fantasy outlook this season could be dampened by a potentially low-performing Giants offense, but he at least appears to be back to full health after missing the team's final eight regular-season games last year due to a knee injury.
