  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Broncos' Drew Lock: Hurts shoulder Sunday

Lock exited Sunday's game against the Chargers after suffering a shoulder injury.

With Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) out this week, Lock was replaced at QB by Brett Rypien. Prior to his departure from the contest, Lock was 2-for-5 for 15 yards and ran once for six yards.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Overcomes errors in win

Allen completed 11 of 26 passes for 120 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions in the Bills' 29-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday. He also rushed 15 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns and threw a two-point conversion pass.

Allen's passing line tells the story of what an atrocious day through the air it was for the talented signal-caller, a surprising development given the relatively favorable matchup presented by the Falcons defense. However, as ugly as his performance was from a pure football perspective, it was a solid one from a fantasy standpoint thanks to his one- and four-yard touchdown rushes in the first quarter. Allen's passing yardage total was his lowest of the season and his third sub-200-yard effort of the campaign overall, and he'll certainly be aiming to go into the postseason on an exponentially better note when he faces the Jets in Week 18.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bears' Andy Dalton: Inefficient in victory

Dalton completed 18 of 35 passes for 173 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Bears' 29-3 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Dalton connected on an early touchdown pass to Darnell Mooney, but he barely completed half of his passes in a blowout win. With the Bears unable to have consistent success on the ground, they threw the ball more than they ran it, but Dalton was unable to click with anyone other than Darnell Mooney. If Justin Fields (ankle) is unable to play in Week 18 against the Vikings, Dalton may be a fantasy option in leagues that start two quarterbacks.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Banged up late in huge win

Burrow completed 30 of 39 passes for 446 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Chiefs. He added 10 yards on five rushing attempts, but Field Yates of ESPN reports that Burrow was sidelined for the game's final few plays after taking a hit and hobbling off the field.

After falling in an early 14-0 hole, Burrow connected with Ja'Marr Chase for a 72-yard touchdown. The Chiefs restored their 14-point lead on the ensuing drive, only for Burrow to answer again with an 18-yard touchdown pass to Chase. Burrow threw his third touchdown to Chase in the third quarter - this time from 69 yards out - before finally giving the Bengals the lead with a five-yard strike to Tyler Boyd early in the fourth quarter. The second-year quarterback engineered most of the game-winning drive late in the fourth, but backup Brandon Allen entered for a kneel-down play and a spike after Burrow limped off, setting up Evan McPherson's game-winning field goal as time expired. Burrow said after the game that his leg got twisted but he thinks he could have returned, per Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site, so he'll likely suit up in Week 18 against the Browns and look to build on his whopping 971 passing yards and eight touchdowns over his last two games.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Just enough to win

Stafford completed 26 of 35 pass attempts for 309 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions against Baltimore on Sunday.

Stafford's game was far from clean -- he started slowly and lost a fumble in addition to the two interceptions -- but a certaint amount of credit has to be given to the Ravens' defense, which played a strong game despite a number of crucial injuries in the secondary. The 20-19 victory took the Rams down to the wire, with Stafford throwing the game-winning touchdown to Odell Beckham with about a minute left in the game. Stafford has struggled to create consistent production with any of his pass catchers aside from Cooper Kupp, who was once again automatic (six catches for 95 yards and one touchdown on seven targets). The Rams face the 49ers in Week 18.

  • Ian Book QB | PHI

    Saints' Ian Book: Inactive Sunday

Book (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Panthers, John DeShazier of the Saints' official site reports.

Book goes from starting last Sunday against Miami to inactive in Week 17 against the Panthers. With the returns of Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian from COVID protocols, Book falls back to third on the quarterback positional depth chart, and the Saints will use that roster space elsewhere Sunday.

  • Tim Boyle QB | TEN

Lions' Tim Boyle: Getting another spot start

Boyle will start in place of Jared Goff (knee) on Sunday at Seattle, Chris Burke of The Athletic reports.

As expected, the Lions included Goff on their Week 17 inactive list, thus giving Boyle another chance to direct the offense. In his first opportunity last Sunday in Atlanta, Boyle completed 24 of 34 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Sitting out Sunday

Goff (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game in Seattle.

Goff wasn't eligible to play Week 16 due to residing on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and once he was activated last Monday he wasn't able to practice due to a knee injury. The Lions tabbed him as doubtful to play Sunday, and that assessment proved to be true, keeping him sidelined for a second contest in a row. Tim Boyle thus will earn another start in place of Goff, but the first one didn't go swimmingly last Sunday in Atlanta, as he completed 24 of 34 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

  • Colt McCoy QB | ARI

Cardinals' Colt McCoy: Late addition to injury report

McCoy was added to the injury report ahead of Sunday's contest against the Cowboys with a migraine and is listed as questionable, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

McCoy is the primary backup to Kyler Murray, so if he is unable to suit up, Trace McSorley would likely take over in Week 17. However, barring an injury to Murray, neither backup is expected to see the field. More information about McCoy's status will likely be given closer to the 4:25 PM ET kickoff.

  • Trey Lance QB | LAC

49ers' Trey Lance: Starting for Garoppolo

Lance will start for an inactive Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) in Sunday's contest against the Texans, Keiana Martin of the 49ers' official site reports.

Garoppolo entered the weekend as doubtful to play through the sprained and fractured thumb that he sustained Week 16 at Tennessee. His absence paves the way for Lance to earn his second career start and make his sixth appearance overall. In the previous five, he was spotty as a passer, completing 25 of 48 passes for 354 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. But he made up for it with his legs, turning 30 carries into 137 yards and one more score. Lance will have a chance to produce versus Houston's 19th-ranked pass defense (239.7 yards per game).
